Here is the consent form to complete if your child would like to attend our youthwork!
Here at ChristChurch we are on a mission to see the young people of Hailsham come to know who Jesus is and what it is to be a disciple among their peers. Adam oversees our brilliant team of DBS checked youthworkers who are all passionate to create a space for young people to feel welcomed, encouraged and rooted in our church community as well as equipping them for life after youth!
Just as the rest of the church do, the young people meet throughout the week for various different events.
Rooted: Community runs every Friday night during school term from 7pm-9pm – this is a space for the young people to come and hang out, enjoying our facilities which include a pool table, table tennis, basketball, football, xbox, a creative space and a tuck shop. It’s a relaxed environment with plenty of space to enjoy community and bring along friends!
We run a younger youth life group, for Years 7-9 (ages 11-14) each Sunday evening, where we gather for God, the bible, tea and toast! It runs from 6pm-7:30pm every week (except for the weeks when we run The Sanctuary).
We also run an older youth life groups for years 10-13 (ages 14-18) on Monday evenings (except for church prayer weeks). This group meets at different people’s homes.
As well as all of this, we also head out of Hailsham twice a year for Youth Retreat and Newday where we enjoy fellowship as a youth group away from home – this always includes crazy games, late nights and plenty of hot chocolate!
