We are so thrilled to be back at Coldharbour Meadows again this year for our church weekend away! All the details you need to know can be found below, please make sure you read through this page and then when you are ready to book yourself in, head to our booking and payment page!
What, When, Where?
Camp begins from 1pm on Friday 23rd May . We will officially finish around midday on Bank Holiday Monday, 26th May , but the site will be open until 3pm for pack down.
The address for the camp is Coldharbour Meadows, Whitesmith Lane, Chiddingly, East Sussex, BN8 6BH.
We have a fairly relaxed schedule planned, to allow for lots of fun, and time to spend together socialising as well as opportunities gather to worship and hear God’s word too. We will also be holding our main church meeting at Coldharbour Meadows on Sunday, so there will be no 10am meeting at ChristChurch on Sunday 25th May 2025. Here is a rough outline of what we have planned each day:
Friday – arrival on site, early evening bonfire and worship (followed by marshmallows!)
Saturday – 10am meeting, movie afternoon, pulled pork communal meal, evening bonfire
Sunday – 10am meeting (at Coldharbour, not ChristChurch), wide games and bonfire and marshmallows!
Monday – mid morning communal cooked breakfast and our award-winning awards ceremony!
Camping:
For those who haven’t been before, there is plenty of camping spaces which include both electric hook up pitches and normal grass pitches. There will be an additional fee of £5 for electric hook up which can be added to your booking when you pay online.
We also have a number of tents owned by the church which people can borrow if you would like to come and don’t have your own tent. Please email Jenni for more details. These will be available on a first come, first serve basis and we will ask for an additional donation of £10 to cover general wear and tear.
Well behaved dogs will be welcome on site on a lead and there is no charge for them to attend!
Ticket prices include 3 nights camping, plus an evening meal on Saturday and a cooked breakfast on Monday morning. The earlybird price shown below is valid until 31st March 2025:
12 Years and Over: £50
Ages 4-11: £35
Under 3: Free
Maximum price per household/family: £210 – there is a booking option to reflect this concession on the payment page.
When booking online there are payment options to either pay in full, or to pay a 50% deposit. Please note the second instalment will need to be paid before 30th April and it can either be paid on Square, our online store, or by bank transfer (please email us to let us know if you pay by bank transfer so we can allocate your payment!)
Day Visitors:
Day visitors are welcome on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday: Must be booked online in advance and paid for here. Unfortunately the prices have increased for day visitors due to a large increase in day visitor charges made by the campsite. You are welcome onsite from 8am until 10pm on Saturday and it includes the cost of an evening meal. The cost will be £16 per adult and £8 per child (with a maximum cost of £50 per family).
Sunday: We have decided to not charge on Sunday so people who cannot afford to attend can still come and worship with us at our church meeting at 10am. So you will not need to book in advance to come on Sunday. We will however take up an offering that morning to help cover the costs that are due to the campsite.
Any other questions:
Full details about the camp will be emailed out to people one month before the event, however if you have any questions before then please do contact the office at [email protected]
